NEBA’s first table at a BOOK FAIR!
We’re excited it’s back after two years of being canceled due to the Pandemic. The University of Southern Maine’s Kate Cheney Chappell ’83 Center for Book Arts has been hosting this book fair at the Wishcamper Center in Portland since 2011.
Book Arts Bazaar
A festival with book artists, papermakers, bookbinders, printmakers, educators, writers, and all things related to the book.
Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 10am to 3pm
University of Southern Maine
Wishcamper Center, 34 Bedford St., Portland, ME
NEBA members may submit 1 book for sale
- NEBA will keep 20% of the proceeds from the sale of each book to be added to its operational budget.
- We cannot insure any artwork.
- Artists participate at their own risk.
- All reasonable care will be taken when handling the artwork.
Members who would like to participate, please note:
- It doesn’t have to be a recent piece.
- Work must be wrapped in bubble wrap with artist’s name, book title and pricing on outside of the package.
- 2 copies of your artist’s page for the NEBA Binder. Artist’s page may include artist bio, statement, contact information, book images, et all. Two-sided is recommended, but not mandatory. Email PDF to cristina@hajosyarts.com
- Complete a survey by March 10th. Take SURVEY HERE
- Deadline for receipt of book entries: March 25

Pre-Bazaar Meeting for NEBA merchandise production, as well as NEBA brochure & zine folding. We’re also making collaged bookmarks with NEBA-inspired colors for fundraising. Cristina’s cookies and herbal iced teas will complete the afternoon. Come join us!
