ARTIST’S STATEMENT
While I am primarily a printmaker, I learned to make books when looking for a quiet activity to work on at home. Making books is a great way to use certain prints and my handmade marbled paper, as well as, a great way to stay in touch with my book making friends. Most of my books have a theme, often a poem or a fixation on shoes or chickens or hamsters or bees.
