ARTIST’S STATEMENT
I fell in love with artists’ books in the early 90’s and started making books using my prints. As a printmaker, books and printmaking go hand-in-hand. Never taking a book making class, I just made up ways to put these books together. This worked better for me as I began to understand the importance of how content influences the materials and construction of the container (or book). I make books all the time. Some are serious, some fun, and it seems some I don’t finish. Works in progress.
