BIO
In 1971, I worked at The Children’s Museum in Boston. We created book and papermaking kits for classroom teachers, and in the process, experimented with all kinds of book forms, paper-making, and printmaking processes. I was hooked and have been making and teaching others to make books ever since!
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
My work explores varied book forms, including visual journals and handmade book structures, and uses color, text, and collage in a process of discovery to create a dialog between my chosen imagery and themes. Color, in particular, is a major element of my inspiration, process, and finished books.
